Guelph
Here for Guelph
Cameron understands the challenges so many in Guelph face because he’s lived them. A father, partner, and lifelong renter, he knows the frustration of working hard while goals remain just out of reach. His journey from high school dropout to earning a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics and a PhD in Global Health and Social Medicine from King’s College London is a testament to resilience, perseverance, and hard work
After briefly teaching at McMaster University, he found his way to the factory floor in Guelph at Polycon and later at Well.ca. Following a workplace injury, he transitioned to marketing and eventually became an active member of the Guelph NDP, dedicating his time to advancing meaningful causes and supporting local charities.
Whether it’s volunteering with the NDP, supporting local charities, or helping a friend return to their career in nursing, Cameron consistently brings his values to life through meaningful contributions. He is ready to deliver bold ideas and real solutions, creating a brighter future for Guelph. Together, we can build a city and a province where everyone can thrive.
